FAD STU will take part as a Partner among the consortium of 8 European universities to explore the relationship between transdisciplinarity and innovation in education. The project CT.uni: Creative project Thinking – Taking an Innovative and STEAM Approach for a Transdisciplinary University (ERASMUS+, KA2 – Cooperative partnerships) will start on 2 May 2022.
Education forms the basis for a creative and productive workforce that drives research, development, innovation and is able to drive technological and digital developments. Education and training equips people with the skills needed in the labor market and enables them to respond to changing circumstances and structural changes.
In the education process, teachers play a central role in imparting skills, competences, knowledge and international perspectives to young people. This is why teachers need to receive excellent education and attractive prospects for their professional development and remuneration. The complexity of social and scientific problems today requires interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary overlaps. They have proven to be invaluable not only to scientists, but above all to everyone involved in the educational process, from teachers and researchers to students, managers, administration and external institutions that strengthen the community itself.
While there are currently a number of approaches to multi-, inter- and transdisciplinary education, the CT.Uni project is an opportunity to develop a collaborative meta-study as a comprehensive overview of what has developed in university education in order to identify the specific effectiveness of creativity and innovation and a broader approach to STEAM.

The KA2 Erasmus+ CT.Uni: Creative Thinking Taking an Innovative and STEAM Approach for a Transdisciplinary University project was playing an important role within a series of conferences, seminars, workshops held in June 2024 in Bratislava.
For the twenty-third time, the Night of Architecture and Design will take place at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of STU at 19 Liberty Square in Bratislava. The gates of the faculty will open to the public on Thursday, 20 June 2023 at 16.00.

The Faculty of Architecture and Design of STU in Bratislava has achieved a great success. We have been ranked 5th among the TOP 100 best architecture and engineering universities in the world thanks to our success in the INSPIRELI AWARDS competition, which involved students of our faculty.

Students of the 5th year of FAD STU in Bratislava Samuel Andrejčák, Jakub Čerešník and Lukáš Bím won the Buildner Student Award for their Elderly oasis project in the international Buildner competition.
The international jury, composed of recognized experts in individual areas of product design, spent two demanding days in Hurbanové kasárne (Hurban Barracks) evaluating and assessing 79 works in 8 categories of product design and selected those from which we will recognize the laureates in the fall. Each work was carefully assessed according to important criteria such as originality, aesthetics, functionality, technical maturity and sustainability.
